The Canungra Cup is up and running and a task was set to Rathdowny from Mt. Tamborine launch. I went off as wind tech and I found ample lift over launch and then headed off over to Misery when the window for the comp was open. The conditions worsened and a strong north westerly wind came through. A lot of pilots couldn't get the first turn point on Misery and got flushed either back to bombout or in Canungra. There were three in goal local pilot Will with Gareth Carter and Matts Elliason.
Well done to all pilots who hung in there!!
